Atul Kavthekar

Atul Kavthekar is a Managing Director at Overture Advisors. During his investment banking career, Mr. Kavthekar has worked on a large number of transactions across a wide array of sectors including diversified industrial manufacturers, technology and telecommunications, health care, business services, automotive, consumer goods, and energy.

Prior to joining Overture Advisors, Atul was a senior member of both the Technology and Industrial Markets teams of KPMG Corporate Finance, providing M&A and restructuring services to a range of middle-market companies, private equity funds and sovereign wealth funds. Prior to KPMG, Atul was a Director at Trenwith Securities, specializing in special situation and bankruptcy (Section 363) transactions. Prior to Trenwith, Atul was a Vice President in Morgan Stanleys Mergers, Acquisitions and Restructurings Department, having worked on several notable transactions including the sale of Fox Family Worldwide to the Walt Disney Company, and the restructuring of Qualcomms investment in Pegaso Telecommunicaciones, a Mexican provider of wireless telecommunications services. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Atul was an Associate at Wasserstein Perella & Co. Atul received a BSE from the University of Michigan, a MSE from Wayne State University and a MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago.
