Ravi Viswanath

Ravi Viswanath is a Senior Advisor at Overture Advisors, LLC. He is a highly regarded technologist who specializes in the development, optimization and roll out of intellectual property strategies for emerging and growth companies by leveraging his extensive background as a CTO and CIO.Ravi brings a unique blend of technology management and operations experience to Overture. He assists clients in optimizing the value of their existing technology portfolio prior to an exit, identifying complementary technologies for acquisition, and developing road maps for sustainable growth.

Prior to joining Overture Advisors, Ravi architected and delivered a complex federally regulated transaction processing system at HedgeStreet.com, where he was CTO and head of operations. His team operated the exchange and clearinghouse while managing sensitive financial information in a strictly regulated environment. Ravi then successfully led the acquisition of Hedge Street by the IG Group, a $2.6B public company based in the UK.Ravi also successfully architected and developed solutions for OneRev (acquired by Agile Software) and PostX (acquired by IronPort / Cisco). Earlier in his career, Ravi held key product development management positions at Oracle and Digital Equipment Corporation. He has also successfully raised over $40M in venture capital during his career. Ravi has a M.S. In Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire, and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, India.
